Hale Center Teacher Arrested

A Hale Center teacher has been arrested on charges for improper relationship with a student.

46-year-old Amy Gilly is booked into the Hale County Jail. She was arrested on December 20.

The Hale Center schools superintendent referred the improper relationship to the schools Resource Officer, and the investigation was started by police and The County’s Sheriff’s Office.

A warrant was obtained for her arrest December 20th and her bond has been set at 20-thousand-dollars
