Grassfire South of Bushland

Firefighters are battling a grassfire, just south of Bushland.

The blaze is located in the 8100 block of Bushland Drive, is currently 175 acres and 45% contained.

An evacuation is being ordered for people who live east of Blessen Road and FM 2186.

Randall county fire has requested mutual aid from Potter and Amarillo, and an aircraft is laying fire retardant to reinforce firelines.

Officials say the wind is hampering efforts to put the fire down.
