Pedestrian Hit, Killed On I-40 Near Bushland

Drive By Shooting Investigation
One person is dead following an early morning truck vs. pedestrian accident near Bushland.
The incident occurred around 6 a.m. on I-40 about three west of Bushland where 34-year-old Anthony Autry of Atlanta was walking in the service road of I-40 when he was struck by a 2007 Ford F250 pickup.
Autry was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup reports he was not able to see the man until it was too late.
That investigation continues.
