Fatal Rollover on Grand Early Wednesday Morning

The Amarillo Police Department was sent out to a crash at the 3400 block of North Grand Street early Wednesday morning. 

A northbound Chevrolet truck failed to make a turn and ended up rolling over.

Alex Tomas, a 17-year-old male, was the only occupant of the vehicle and was dead on the scene. 

Police determined that speed was a factor in the crash, and the Traffic Investigation Unit of APD is continuing to work on the case.
