East Amarillo Structure Fire

Amarillo Firefighters were called out to a structure fire Sunday morning in East Amarillo.

 AFD reports at around 3 a.m. on March 19, crews were dispatched to 3904 SE 11th to find a single-family residence showing heavy fire.

Crews recognized the blaze was coming from a vacant home and attacked the blaze in a defensive attack and had it under control in under an hour.

They also report no injuries were sustained and the Fire Marshals Office was notified
