Coffee Memorial Facing Critical Blood Levels

Coffee Memorial Blood Center is close to reaching a critical low in its blood supply, with less than half of the needed blood they need. 

The numbers nationally have never strayed far from emergency levels since the dawn of the pandemic and the challenges it brought. 

There were also multiple blood drive cancellations through February and March thanks to winter conditions. 

In light of the emergency, Coffee Memorial is extending its donation times from 7:30 am until 6 pm on weekdays and 7:30 to 4 on Saturdays.
