APD Still Looking For Information On The Death Of Laura Etta Ashley

The Amarillo Police Department is still asking for the community’s help after a shooting in Amarillo.

On September 6th at 9:21 PM, APD officers were called to the area of Northwest 15th Avenue and North Monroe Street on a shooting incident.

Once on scene, they found 62-year-old Laura Etta Ashley had been shot while driving eastbound on Northwest 15th Avenue.

Once on scene, Officers found her deceased in her car.

This case is being investigated by the Amarillo Police Department Homicide and Violent Crimes Units.

Detectives are asking anyone in the area between Amarillo Boulevard West and northwest 24th Avenue from north Hughes Street to North Polk Street to review any camera footage that they might have between 8:38 PM and 9:21 PM on Monday, September 6th.
