APD Investigating Body On I-40 Near Whitaker Road

The Amarillo Police Department is clearing the scene of an accident.
APD says a highway worker discovered the body of an unidentified female that was hit by a vehicle on I-40 near Whitaker Road in the Eastbound medium.
The roadway is closed right now and will reopen when the investigation is finished.
