Amarillo National Bank Fire

The Amarillo Fire Department put out a fire last night at the Amarillo National bank Branch at I-40 and Coulter.

At 8;45 fire crews were dispatched to the scene and saw smoke and flames coming from the top of the building.

They found fire in the signage on a outside wall, and crews were able to extiguish it quickly and cotain it to the exterior

Smoke and water had entered the building and a salvage team was formed to clear the damage.

No injuries are reported and the Fire Marshal’s office rules the blaze accidental.

The bank is closed on Friday and the bank is advising customers to use the Soncy branch for ATMS, Drive -up Banking and lobby banking, while mortgage customers should use the Summit branch
