Amarillo House Fire Ethan Lane

Fire destroyed a house in southwest Amarillo.

The Amarillo Fire Department says the call came in around 1 p.m. Sunday and when firefighters got to the residence at 6007 Ethan Lane they saw heavy smoke and fire showing.

After attacking the blaze, Firefighters were eventually able to get back inside and do a search for victims.

No injuries were reported.

The home is considered  a total loss “due to the heavy fire damage.”

The fire was brought under control at 2:30 p.m. and the cause is under investigation
