5th-Annual Water Bash Returns on July 29th

The Vessel of Humanity and Compassion is throwing its fifth annual Unity In The Community Water Bash On Saturday, July 29th at noon at Bones Hooks Park in Amarillo.

The end of Summer event features water guns, water toys, rapid-filled balloons, hula hoops, and just about anything else that will get you wet.

Event organizers say during the event, families can register kids for free backpacks and school supplies, and school supply donations can be brought to Shi Lees’s Soul Food and Bar-Be-Que at 1213 Southwest 3rd Ave.

Attendees will also be able to register for the upcoming Braids and Fades event at this time.

According to Tremaine Brown, the nonprofit’s President and founder since 2010, thousands of families and individuals have been helped through the foundation, and over the years the organization has given out physical, financial, financial and emotional support including feeding, winter coats, Christmas gifts, and school supplies.
