4 Area Counties On Pause For Gov. Abbott’s Reopen Texas Phase 2 Plan

Governor Greg Abbott announced Monday Phase 2 of the Reopen Texas Plan that excludes some area counties.

Due to high rates of Covid-19 the counties of Randall, Potter, Moore, Deaf Smith and El Paso have to wait one week to reopen curtain businesses.

Bars, bowling alleys, bingo halls, simulcasting, skating rinks, rodeo/equestrian events, zoos, aquariums and natural caverns must wait one week to reopen to see how coronavirus rates make out.

As of Monday, Child care centers, Massage and personal-care, beauty services and gyms were allowed to reopen to the public but under strict CDC guidelines.
