WTAMU Ag Alumni Lunch

Representatives from the WTAMU Ag Department – part of the school’s Paul Engler College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences – are hitting the road and traveling to Muleshoe to host a free lunch for Buffs in the southwest part of the Texas Panhandle.

The March 20th event will be held from Noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Bailey County Electric Cooperative located at 610 East American Boulevard.

Those attending will meet with representatives of WT’s Alumni Association, and the Agriculture Development Association which includes:

  • Dr. Lance Kieth, associate dean of the Engler College
  • Dr. Bob Robinson, professor of agriculture
  • McKinley Begert, recruitment coordinator
  • Gary Culp, a founding ADA member.

Doctor Kieth says “This is a great opportunity for us to reconnect with Buffs on their home turf, so to speak,” adding “Everyone benefits when alumni have strong ties back to the University.”

Additional events like this are being planned for the Panhandle region.
