WT Students to Lead New Canyon Branch of Education Credit Union

A new branch of Education Credit Union is set to open in Canyon, with West Texas A&M University students leading the charge.
Students from the school make up most of the workforce at the remodeled branch at 2100 Fourth Avenue, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new building is set to be held on April 13th at 4 pm.
The unique partnership will also provide students with paid internships at the branch to provide hands-on experience and opportunities for community engagement.
The partnership also included redesigned logos for ECU in collaboration with WT’s student-run PR firm called 1920PR.
