Would You Rent A Home Where You Could Not Cook?

If you’re going to live near San Francisco you shouldn’t plan on cooking much. Landlords in the Bay Area are reportedly mocking up rental agreements with stipulations that would prevent or severely restrict cooking, or even having an oven, inside the space. SFGate published an article last week that says more than 90 Bar Area Craigslist housing listings featured “no cooking” or “light” cooking-only clauses. California’s safety regulations do not require rentals to include kitchens, but they do require at least a kitchen sink.
