Wings of Hope Celebration Next Week at Amarillo College

Join The Hope & Healing Place for this year’s Wings of Hope Memorial Celebration on Saturday, September 16th from 10 am to noon at Amarillo College’s Memorial Park.

This family-friendly event is open to the public and free of charge, where over 500 butterflies will be released to signify the journey through grief.

It’s said that the butterfly release is a tangible way to remember your loved one, an acknowledgment of a life lived, and a celebration of the love you shared.

Other activities for the event include a memorial chalk walk and various butterfly crafts to name a few.

You can even reserve a butterfly to be released with a specific loved one in mind by reserving one for just $25.
