Wheat Planting Under Way; Moisture Still Needed

This week’s Texas Wheat interview with Steelee Fischbacher looks at planting, education and research.
She says planting is currently at 31% complete, but weather concerns remain front a center for much of the states growers. “We’ve got varying planting conditions across the State. We’ve got some areas that are pretty wet to the East and some areas that are pretty dry to the West. That’s something that’s pretty typical for us in a wheat growing year, but something that’s an ongoing concern.”
