The Texas Department of Transportation will close I-40 westbound from Soncy Road to Helium Road and Helium Road to repair pavement that was damaged from the winter weather.
I-40 westbound traffic will exit at Soncy and stay on the frontage road before re-entering at the on-ramp from helium road.
The right lane of I-40 westbound will also be closed 11 miles from the New Mexico State Line to repair roads damaged from the winter weather as well.
