Threat To Amarillo Schools Not Creidible

Amarillo police say a threat that is circulating through the community is not a credible threat to the Amarillo area.

The Amarillo Police Department says it was made aware of a threat to preschools in Texas circulating the community.

Law enforcement from Wyoming reported to Texas agencies that two teens had made threats of a shooting at a Texas preschool.

Police are monitoring the situation and have received information from the reporting agency.

The Potter County Sheriff’s Office also says they do not believe the threat is credible. APD and the Potter County Sheriff’s Office also say they will continue to monitor the situation..
