Summer Camp Discovery

Registration is now open for Summer Camp Discovery.

The Don Harrington Discovery Center says eight themes are being offered and caregivers can register their children for one week or multiple weeks.

Themes include Mysterious Matter – June 3-7, Fast and Furious – June 10-14, Exploration Earth – June 17-21 as well as many others.

Summer Camp Discovery is for children ages three to those entering the fifth grade. Campers will be separated into different classrooms so they can learn among children in their age group.

Each camp will include activities, crafts, as well as science demonstrations.

The DHDC’s science curriculum is taught by qualified teachers who have first aid and CPR training.

The camps are $175 per week for members, and $225 a week for non-members.
