SNAP Cooking Workshop

The High Plains Food Bank and the Center for Advancement Cooking Workshop registration is on January 3rd.

Both organizations are hosting the workshop, Meals is a Snap, which is free workshop and open to any woman in the community.

The workshop will take place Saturday, Jan. 6, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at 2308 S.W. 7th St.

A nutrition educator will teach attendees how to prepare nutritional food on a budget with food demonstrations and hands-on activities.

Space is limited and SNAP cookbooks will also be available to all attendees along with information on applying for SNAP benefits for those who qualify.
