Scammers At Work

Scammers are at work and the Randall County Sheriff’s Office is warning of a new scam.

This time, they’re calling people and claiming to be from the Sheriff’s Office and asking for money 

The office does not conduct financial transactions over the phone, and that includes Venmo, PayPal, or other online services.

Sometimes the calls show phone numbers for the Sheriff’s office, and scammers are also using names of employees.

Sheriff’s officials say if you receive one of these calls to hang up and call the Sheriff’s office at 806-468-5800
