Potter County Sherriff and Bushland ISD to Run Reunification Drill

On Tuesday, August 8th, the Potter County Sheriff’s Office will be collaborating with the Bushland Independent School District in conducting a live student reunification drill.

The primary objective of this student reunification drill is to fine-tune and optimize the response procedures and coordination among the participating agencies.

During the drill, law enforcement personnel will actively engage in utilizing their vehicles and training equipment to simulate a large-scale, real-life scenario. It is essential for the public’s safety that they are aware that this drill may look and feel like an actual emergency response event.

The exercise will take place at Bushland High School at 10:30 am and will take two hours to complete. The public is encouraged to avoid the vicinity of the school during that time, if possible.
