Potter County Motorcycle Crash

An Amarillo man is dead following a motorcycle wreck in Potter County.

48-year-old William Fox died due to the crash on South Loop at the intersection of 335 in a construction lane.

Texas Highway Patrol says the intersection is a left turn only because the west side of the road is closed for construction and is marked by reflective barricades.

They say that as Fox approached the stop sign,  the motorcycle went into a skid, into the intersection, and hit a curb on the southeast side.

The man was thrown from the motorcycle, and the bike ended up behind the barricades.

Fox was pronounced dead at the scene, and Troopers are still investigating the crash..
