October’s Teachers On The Rise

Another month passed in the school year means another slate of winners for Mrs. Baird’s Teachers on the Rise. 

Going into the twelfth year of Teachers on the Rise, there have been countless stories and memories that show the importance of having the teacher-student connection regardless of grade. 

This month’s winners were Stacy Stewart of Wolflin Elementary School, Karman Vasquez of Fannin Middle School, and Becca Barkley of Randall High School.

Each winner will receive a $100 gift card from United Supermarkets, a $100 American Express gift card courtesy of Tyler’s Barbecue, and a $100 Amazon card from Horse Creek Boutique in Spearman, along with a basket of baked goods from Mrs. Baird’s. 

For each winning teacher, there is also a prize in the form of a $50 American Express gift card for the student who nominated them as well.
