November 28 Is Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is just around the corner, November 28th to be exact.

Created in 2012, Giving Tuesday began as a simple idea; a day that encourages people to be good and caring. It inspires millions of people to give and celebrate generosity.

Making someone smile, assisting a neighbor or stranger during a time of need, Giving Tuesday has become a global movement.

Locally, The Panhandle Gives has become an annual event that begins the Monday before Thanksgiving and ends on Giving Tuesday.

The Panhandle Gives continues to be a focused effort of the Amarillo Area Foundation to support, empower, and encourage collaboration among nonprofits across the twenty-six counties of the Texas Panhandle.
