New Phones For Amarillo Police

Amarillo Police and some support staffers will be getting new special cell phones, to the tune of 300 thousand dollars over the next two years

City council voted to contract with T-Mobile for the phones and service which, will provide more security and the ability to collect evidence with them, like photos instead of using field cameras.

The new network and applications will provide for time and schedule management as well as investigative tools are meant to increase efficiency.
