Mrs. Baird’s Bread Teachers on the Rise For the End of the School Year

As the school year comes to a close for public schools across the Panhandle, the Mrs. Baird’s Bread Teacher on the Rise program honors teachers who go above and beyond.
On Wednesday representatives from the Teachers on the Rise, United Supermarket, and Amarillo Custom Box Company presented awards to two Amarillo teachers.
Both teachers were given a $100 gift card from both United and Amarillo Custom Box.
Puckett Elementary teacher Kelli Glass was nominated by the Shields family, and Amarillo High’s Zach Thompson was nominated by student Mdelyn Volks.
Both students who nominated the teachers received a $50 Visa gift card.
