Man Behind Bars Facing Murder Charge

A man has been arrested in connection with a homicide in Amarillo.

Phou Phiouphanh was charged with murder and booked into the Potter County Jail.

At 5 a.m. Saturday, police were called to the 5900 block of North East 9th Ave. after a body was found in the middle of the street.

The victim was identified as 39-year-old Isaac Shay Morris.

Morris’ family created a Go Fund Me account to aid with funeral expenses.
