Man Arrested on Child Endangerment Charges

The Potter County Sheriff’s office has arrested a man for multiple charges, including child endangerment.
The department says a deputy was sent to answer an animal welfare check May 11th at 1:15pm when he noticed a child inside the house with no supervision.
A welfare check was conducted on the child, where officials discovered two other children also inside the house.
The father, identified as Fabian Silva, showed up at the scene when officers were still present.
He was arrested and booked on two felony counts for Abandoning or Endangering a Child, as well as multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
CPS has taken the children into custody, and the investigation is still ongoing.
