What do the Make-a-Wish Foundation and Chili have in Common?

A lot, when the foundation stands to get money from the 40th annual Tri-State Open Chili Championship that is being hosted at the Rex Baxter Building in Amarillo. 

The Chili Championship will raise funds to help send children with serious illnesses on their dream trip.

Amarillo and surrounding counties have 42 children who are waiting for their wish.

The average cost of a wish can vary depending on what the wish is, but the average cost is around $10,000.

Tickets are available at the door of the Rex Baxter building this Friday and Saturday.
