Increased Spring Break Road Patrols

The Potter County Sheriff’s Office will have more patrol deputies on the road during spring break.

The Deputies will be conducting DWI enforcement.

Spring Break, according to TxDOT, is a period with an increased number of fatal accidents on Texas roads. 

The effort is part of the state’s Drink, Drive, Go to Jail campaign to prevent alcohol-related car crashes. Sheriff Brian Thomas suggests if your Spring Break plans include alcohol, arrange for a sober ride home before going out.
