The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will be stocking Neighborhood Fishing Lakes with catfish across Texas the week of April 14th.
That includes Medi Park Lake in Amarillo.
Other lakes being stocked in the Lone Star State include Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio.
Medi Park Lake in Amarillo, located at 1100 Wallace Blvd., according to TPWD, will receive channel catfish every two weeks through the end of October, with only a brief pause during August.
Anglers will be allowed to keep up to five catfish of any size per day. However, TPWD reminded that while children under 17 can fish for free, adults who fish must have a fishing license.
