Lefors Fires: Fire Department Issues Evacuation; Students To Be Bused To Pampa

UPDATE: The Lefors Fired Department is asking residents to evacuate to Pampa due to the fires in that area.

In a Facebook post, the fire department is asking residents not to stay Tumbleweed or Skyline as this will impede with fire departments and their efforts to tend to the fire.

Lefors ISD announced students are being bused to Pampa due to fires near Lefors.

In a statement on Facebook, Lefors ISD officials stated students are being bused to the Rodeo Grounds in Pampa.

Students will need to be picked up from the buses there.
