Disruptive Passenger Denied Bond

The passenger accused of punching a flight attendant, forcing the plane to land in Amarillo was in court on Monday.

A federal judge remanded Keith Edward Fagiana to custody, appointed an attorney, and then transported back to the Randall County Jail.

Fagiana is charged with interference with a flight crew.

The criminal complaint states that Fagiana cursed at a male flight attendant last Wednesday on an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Bozeman, Montana.

Fagiana punched him four times before he was tackled to the ground as the plane was then diverted to Amarillo.

The suspect admitted to the FBI that he had drank Captain Morgan rum at different bars in Las Vegas before his flight and that he did not remember anything that happened on the planeĀ

Fagiana faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
