Canyon Police Chase

Canyon Police have arrested two suspects following a robbery at an Allsups.

Police were called out to the Allsup’s at 23rd and 8th, at 6:a.m, Thursday morning on the robbery

When they arrived they learned the suspects had gotten away, and witnesses described the men. They learned that one of the suspects had a gun and demanded money.

Nineteen-year-old Derrick Morales and 17-year-old Devin Franklin fled the Canyon location and led police down to Plainview, where the chase finally ended in Lubbock.

Morales and Franklin are in the Lubbock County jail for evading in a motor vehicle, while several other suspects have been identified and arrested.

Canyon police are still investigating.
