Barfield Hotel Named Finalist in statewide awards

The Barfield hotel is now a top two finalist in this years Texas Downtown President’s Award Program.

For more than 30 years the awards program, sponsored by Texas Downtown, has recognized outstanding projects, places, and people of downtowns across the state.

The recognition from the state is helping put eyes on the hotel and the Panhandle.

The Barfield opened in August of 2021 and has enjoyed great reviews and high occupancy ever since.

Winners will be announced on November 2 at the President’s Awards Gala, held in conjunction with the 2022 Texas Downtown Conference scheduled for November 1-4 in San Marcos.
