Ascension Academy Choir Wins 2A State Championship

 Ascension Academy traveled to Waco, Tx last weekend to take part in the TAPPS State Vocal Championships, and came back as 2A State champions. 

During the event, the team excelled with the best score of ones across the board winning the Large Ensemble Sweepstakes, as well as Sight-Reading. 

In addition to the team’s success, both junior Hannah Nguyen and Senior Chris Teichmann received a superior score in their solo performances.
