APD Officer Involved in Shooting

A member of the Amarillo Police Department was involved in a shooting the afternoon of April 25th.
Officers stopped a car around 2pm in the 1200 block of North Hill Street when they noticed the driver was holding a gun.
One policeman fired a shot, striking and killing the driver.
No one else was hurt, and the investigation is ongoing.
