Amarillo Library and Panhandle Comm. Services Affordable HealthCare

The Panhandle Community Services and the Amarillo Public Library are teaming up to help community members with health insurance.

The Open Enrollment period for health insurance purchased through the Affordable Care Act Marketplace runs until January 15,

The event is being held to help people navigate and understand enrolling in Medicaid, and the Marketplace insurance.

Certified Health Care Navigators will be at many APL locations on the following days:

At the Southwest Library, January 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The North Branch, December 5th.4:00 to 6:p.m.

The Northwest Branch on December 16th from 11:00a.m until 3:00 p.m. and the Downtown Library, on January 9th, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
