Amarillo City Council-Drainage

Infrastructure was the name of the game at the Amarillo City Council meeting on Tuesday.

City Council voted to improve the city’s drainage system, by voting to sell $39 million in bonds to finance.

Added construction is also included.

Drainage fees went up in October in anticipation of repaying this debt.

Another $ 3 million, council approved will go toward repair and maintenance of an airport hanger that is leased to a private company.
