1 Dead Other Injured After Motorcycle Wreck On I-40

One person has died and 3 others are in the hospital after a wreck Friday night.

One motorcycle, driven by a 29-year-old man with a 44-year-old woman passenger and another driven by Seth Dees, 39, and a 42-year-old woman passenger, were driving west in the 1300 block of I-40.

The motorcycle driven by Dees hit the rear end of the other motorcycle causing them to lose control and crash.

Officials with the Amarillo Police Department says a pick up driving behind the group was not able to stop in time before running over Dees and his passenger.

Dees died at the scene, his passenger was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and the other driver and passenger were treated with minor injuries.
