WTAMU Tuition Reduction for Part Time Employees

The West Texas A&M University says many part-time employees and their families,  may be eligible for half-off tuition and mandatory fees, beginning with the upcoming summer session.

WT President Walter V. Wendler announced on Wednesday that the university’s Employee and Family Tuition and Fees Reduction program would begin to apply to employees who work “50% or more of the hours of a full-time employee,” as well as their spouses and dependent children.

The waiver program launched in 2022, is noted as one of the most generous programs offered by any state college or university in Texas or the Texas A&M University SysteThe reduction in tuition applies to all bachelor and graduate degree programs, but not to certificate or second bachelor`s degrees. It also does not cover course materials, housing, or meal costs.
