Wreck Near Dalhart Leaves One Dead

1 person is dead after a wreck near Dalhart Sunday early morning.
27-year-old Oscar Diaz -Garcia of Grand Prairie Texas was traveling northeast on US 54 when he veered into the southwest lane.
A 2016 Volvo Cascadia truck tractor towing a semi-trailer tried to avoid collision and Diaz-Garcia collided with the rear left of the semi.
The car rolled over onto its right side and slid off the road into the ditch where it rolled over several times before coming to rest on its wheels facing west.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says Garcia was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and he died at the scene.
