Wildcat Bluff Hosts Night With The Stars

Join the Wildcat Bluff Nature Center as they host Night with the Stars  at 9:00 pm on Saturday, August 19th, 2023,

Telescopes will be provided by the city of Amarillo Astronomy Club with help from community members to observe the crescent moon, ring nebula, and Double star Albireo.

Events coordinator Jennifer Noble said that “It’s one thing to see a photo of the planet Saturn and it’s another to see the details of its rings; in real-time with your own eyes, bringing space to life gives so much perspective on how incredible our solar system truly is and something everyone should experience.”

This program is covered by Wildcat Bluff Nature Center’s general admissions or WBNC membership. WBNC will also sell a unique galaxy-themed libation for those wanting refreshments at the event.
