Man found Dead -South Washington Street

The death of a man found on South Washington Street, early Tuesday morning is being investigated as a hit-and-run.

The Randall County Sheriff’s office closed off a portion of Washington between Southwest 58th and Farmers Avenue.

First reports show the body was found in the roadway, and the Justice of the Peace ordered an autopsy.

Texas Department of Public Safety is looking at this as a vehicle versus pedestrian and Randall County is assisting.
