Texas kids could soon be protected from innocently selling lemonade in their front yard. On Wednesday, March 20th the Texas House of Representatives passed a bill that would legalize lemonade stands run by kids. These types of stands were previously illegal in Texas, due to sanitation concerns. Once the bill, sponsored by Rep. Matt Krause, passed, the congressman said, “Yesterday was one small step for lemonade, today is one giant leap for young entrepreneurs.” The bill now moves to the Senate for approval. (Fox)
