Landowner Playa Field Day
The landowner Playa Field Day will be held Tuesday March 26th, at the Hereford Community Center from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The featured presenters include agriculture innovator Dr. Chris Grotegut and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Region 1 Migratory Game Bird Specialist Don Kahl.
Students, educators, landowners, Master Naturalists, and the public is invited to attend. This field day will go over general information on management practices, playa restoration programs, and playa ecosystems.
Coffee and refreshments will kick the event off, and will include a brief overview of the day. At 11:00 a.m., a guided field trip to playas owned by Dr. Grotegut will take place.
Lunch will be held at 12:30 p.m., followed by brief remarks to close out the field day.
