Interim County Commissioner Sworn In

Potter County Judge Nancy Tanner has appointed Robert Ruiz as the interim county commissioner for Precinct 2.
Ruiz replaces Mercy Murguia. She stepped down earlier this year because she was moving to the Metroplex. Ruiz
Ruiz currently serves as the bailiff in the Amarillo Municipal Court and is a resident of Precinct two.
He’s been sworn in by Judge Tanner on Wednesday
