Head-On Collision With Patrol Car Lands Two In Jail
Two people are behind bars after a head-on Collision onto a patrol car Thursday night.
Just before Midnight, officers were alerted to a auto burglary and the CEFCO at I-10 and Bell and while trying to detain a suspect, 29-year-old Kessi Morris rammed her vehicle onto one car then into the patrol vehicle.
Morris then tried to leave the scene when a passing car blocked her in and when she tried to run officers were able to catch her.
She was accompanied by 23-year-old Nathan Ramirez and a 15-year-old.
Morris was booked into the Potter County Detention Center for aggravated assault on a public servant, engaging in organized criminal activity, evading arrest or detention with a motor vehicle, evading arrest or detention, burglary of vehicles and deadly conduct.
Ramirez was also booked into the Potter County Detention Center for charges of organized criminal activity and a municipal warrant.
One officer sustained minor injuries, and Morris also sustained minor injures.
